026. Mini Dr Dolittle

Ever since Isabelle was young she has been fascinated by animals.
It doesn't matter if they are Furry, feathery, slimy or scaly any animals she sees gets her complete undivided attention as she spends as long as possible learning and taking in every single detail she can about them.

Animals just seem to love her too.
They just seem to understand each other and the way she communicates with animals makes me wonder if she is really able to understand what they want and they understand what she is saying to them in return.

She knows all the animals from her books and knows all of the sounds of even the most random animals (you should hear her Llama and Meerkat impressions).

Isabelle is lucky that we have lots of family and friends with different animals where she is able to spend time playing and watching them.

We also spend a lot of days out going to the Zoo, Farm and walks to feed the ducks.

One of Isabelle's favourite things to do is going fishing with daddy.  Although i don't think the fish like her as much as she likes them.

Whenever we go into Pets at home or any other pet shop i really have to resist the urge to buy Isabelle a pet. I know she would love it but it wouldn't be practical at this point in time. We have a pet dog of our own but he is getting quiet old and although he is very tolerant of Isabelle, he doesn't like spending a lot of time around her. She is a bit of a pest to him and the poor guy just likes some peace and quiet.

Maybe when Isabelle is a bit older and more responsible we will think about getting her a pet of her own but until then i am sure she is pretty happy with all the day trips to see the animals and going to see our friends pets.

Who knows what will happen in the future? Will she be a zoo keeper or a vet or maybe she will just be the crazy cat lady who surrounds herself with helpless strays!!
