On Thursday we finally made Amber official by taking her to the registry office and registering her birth!!
So she is now Officially Amber June Coppin and is part of the big wide world.
After that we decided to take Isabelle & Amber to Beale park because the weather was lovely and sunny and it is Sean's last week at home before he heads back to work tomorrow (Excuse me while i have a little cry)
Beale Park is a lovely little wildlife park in Lower Basildon just outside of Reading. It is a wonderful place to take children who love animals and there is plenty to do to allow them to run off some energy.
Isabelle loves all animals, so it really was the a fun filled day out for her. She is fascinated by all things fluffy, furry, slimy, scaly and feathery. She is a real life Dr Dolittle. She is totally fearless when it comes to animals and she had lots of fun feeding the ducks. Although she wasn't too keen on the mean duck that nipped her finger.
Amber was totally oblivious to the world around her and spent all of the day sleeping in her pushchair, Only waking occasionally to be fed!!
Isabelle especially enjoyed all the quality time she got to spend with Daddy, with Sean working long hours during the week and working every Saturday it isn't often we get a free day and nice weather on the same day so its great to take advantage of it when we do!
Beale Park have also just opened up a new play area for children and we had lots of fun being able to play there too. Isabelle especially loved the tunnels and even braved the big slide all on her own!!
Unfortunately by about 4 o'clock it started to rain but we decided that we would take the opportunity of the train being under cover for us to go and have a ride. It was lots of fun seeing all the animals as we drove past and Isabelle loved waving and shouting "Hen-no" to all the animals she could so!!
I seriously recommend taking a day out and spending it at Beale park if you are nearby.
Lovely photos! Looks like you all had a wonderful day :)
